Watch Dr. Nirmala Gonsalves discuss the evolution of EoE understanding, diagnostic criteria including the EoE endoscopic reference score (EoEREF), and the importance of early diagnosis to prevent fibrosis. Dr. Gonsalves highlighted that EoE affects males more than females, often presents with dysphagia and food impaction, and emphasized the need for proper endoscopic assessment and multiple biopsies for accurate diagnosis.

This was the first webinar in a three-part series on demystifying eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) hosted by the International Society for Diseases of the Esophagus (ISDE) with the support of Sanofi and Regeneron.
